Our mission is to inspire a new generation of conscious consumption and production.
We see a world in which everything we own, we know. Where innovation and progress are not sacrificed for price and convenience, and where a simple smile can bridge cultural divides. We are bringing transparency to commerce, pride to production, and empowering consumers to make informed purchasing decisions.
Show me, don’t tell me.
Seeing is believing. That’s why we’ve gone to the source, visited the factories, and shared it all with you.
We show you how each product is made, who makes it, what’s in it, and the impact it has on you, the planet,
and the producers.
How does a product make it onto Janum?
Is It Innovative?
Progress is inspiring concepts, non-toxic chemicals, low impact manufacturing, socially responsible value chains, and impact awareness.
If a product meets these criteria, our team of organic chemists will conduct a thorough analysis. If it all checks out, we grab the cameras and hit the road.
Are Cameras Allowed?
We believe in blatant transparency. We document everything we see and share it with you. If they don’t let us in, we walk away.
Join us on the farm, in the factory, and beyond.
Do You Like It?
You have the power to shape the future of Janum. If you love these products as much as we do, or even if you don’t, let us know by posting a comment on your product's page.
Any feedback is good feedback.
Small gesture, huge impact.
We believe smiles can transcend cultural divides, instill pride in producers, and foster a world of responsible production, that's why we're currently collecting your photos.
Send a photo with you and your product to email@example.com and we’ll share it with the rest of the world here on our site, as well as create a book of smiles to send to each producer for them to share with the people behind your products.
While Julian was developing innovative products and creating an ethical supply chain in India, Scott was creating socially-conscious media in SF. We joined forces to share the inspiring stories behind amazing products.
Julian takes care of business and Scott makes it look good. We have a passion for all things inspired, and a desire to make the world a better place. We've realized others do too.

Our Board of Advisers
Dr. Seetha Coleman-Kammula and Dr. Brian Coleman are innovators and experts in organic chemistry.
They have worked with Shell for over 25 years, serve on the advisory board at Dow Chemicals, and have advised
companies including Starbucks, Proctor & Gamble, and Ford Motor Company. They believe that life-cycle analysis is essential for product innovation.
It started in Amsterdam, developed in India,
and became rooted in San Francisco.
This is just the beginning. We are starting with two products that we absolutely
love—one we designed and the other we discovered while building our ethical
supply chain. We are always looking for the next inspiring innovation.
Whether you’re a producer, consumer, or somebody in between, let’s
collaborate and share our stories. Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
